Real Weddings - from destinations to local backyard weddings

An Elegant Summer Florida Wedding from Séverine Photography {with Pops of Yellow}

I'm loving the cheeriness in this Real Wedding of Emily and Jeff from Séverine Photography - it's an elegant summer wedding in Florida with beautiful white florals and pops of yellow throughout. Their wedding was held at the newest location of The White Room in St Augustine, The Villa Blanca. Wait until you see their dance together under a gorgeous crystal chandelier - and be sure you don't miss the photo with all the chandeliers at their ceremony spot.

An Intimate Destination Wedding on a Tropical Island {with only the bride + groom}

This featured destination wedding {on a tropical island near the Indian Ocean} was held at the beautiful Outrigger Resort Mauritius and it's absolutely gorgeous. Look at all those palm trees! The bride and groom decided they wanted their wedding to be on a tropical Island to skip the very traditional ways as they desired something very intimate. Photos by Agape Productions.

Both the bride and groom prepared in different rooms as they wanted to create the wow effect when Victoria {the bride} walked down the aisle to meet Ordelus {the groom}. Their ceremony was short but very emotional and with having a two person wedding - there was lots of time to take even more beautiful photos of the happy couple. They ended their day with a special candlit dinner on the beach with fabulous {natural} scenery surrounding them.

A Classic Southern Wedding on a Family Farm in South Carolina

Today's featured wedding, photographed by Hannah Ruth Photography LLC, is absolutely gorgeous and features one of my favorite wedding flowers - pink peonies. The wedding was held on the 50 acre family farm of the brides- and the bride's father and groom worked together to turn the former horse barn into a dream farm wedding venue. The ceremony took place down the hill from the home and overlooked a beautiful waterfront. The wedding was topped off with southern home-cooked food and BBQ.

The bride herself is a wedding calligrapher and knew exactly how she wanted to decorate the venue and set the tone for their wedding day. She incorporated blush, ivory and gold with the green and yellow of the lemons, limes and rosemary complementing the neutral tone perfectly.

The bride and her dad won the crowd with the surprise of the evening when they swayed to Forever Young before busting moves to Uptown Funk. They both kept it a secret while attending dance lessons for a month.

A Blue and Black Canadian Wedding with Dog Ring Bearers

Today’s beautiful wedding took place in Canada with the design by Madeline’s Weddings & Events. Kevin and Courtney have two fur babies that were in their wedding - as the ring bearers. Don’t you just love that photo below of the dogs in their tuxes?

Madeline shares a couple special details about this fun wedding . . .

- Their wedding favors were cute silver plated fortune cookies. The bride and groom personalized each one by hand writing personal messages for every individual guest.
- The pictures of their photo booth are some of my favorites. The signs with "Handsome Groom" and "Beautiful Bride" were hanging on their chair backs at the reception.
- "This head table we did might just be my favourite in almost 12 years!"

An Elegant Canadian Golf Club Wedding {with something blue bridal shoes}

Today's pretty in pink wedding is absolutely beautiful. I'm in love with the spectacular wedding cake - look at those sugar flowers! And, the bride even wore "something blue" wedding shoes. Lesley of Pure Aperture Photography captured the wedding day of Monica and Jonathan seamlessly, even though the ceremony almost didn't happen outside with looming clouds overhead. The outdoor ceremony that Monica dreamed of happened - and then the clouds broke. Despite getting a bit soaked, the clouds parted and the sun came out just in time for the second round of family photos. Enjoy the gorgeous photos in the photo gallery below . . .
