Glam Floral Chic Wedding Ideas in Pink, Black and White

Bird's Party Magazine has released their Spring issue and it's filled with so many wonderful ideas for the spring season. In this new issue, there's a wonderful styled wedding table setting in hot pink with black and white stripes {makes me think of Kate Spade}. The design for this tablescape was inspired by seasonal blooms and boasts stunning ideas for both the eyes and tastebuds. PS: Be sure to check out all of the Bird's Party Printables and Party Supplies - you can save 20% right now with code LUCKY.

My favorite ideas from this glam wedding + dessert table include:

1. The large "Best Day Ever" poster behind the dessert display
2. The single bloom on the top of the cake with the striped ribbon along the bottom. Prefer to place an everlasting bloom on your cake? You may like this clay peony cake topper.
3. The white milk glass bowls for the dessert display - they match the white ruffled cake stands
4. The glitter bows instead of ribbon around the "spread the love" favor jars
5. The black pom-pom topped drink stirrers

It's time to REGISTER - "Be Yourself, Together" with a Target Wedding Registry & Create the Ultimate Dinner and Date-Night-In
It's a new year and that means it's time for all the newly engaged couples to start thinking about their wedding registry. For those couples that register at Target - not only can you choose among great products and brands, but their registry experience and key benefits are wonderful. Today, I'm not only going to tell you about the great perks included in the set-up of a Target Wedding Registry, I'll also be sharing with you how you can craft the ultimate dinner and date-night-in using items that you will likely want to include in your registry.

Before we start planning your ultimate dinner and date-night-in, here's the run-down of the Great Perks of a Target Wedding Registry Include:

1. Easy and engaging registry experience with inspirational starter lists
2. 15% off completion offer - the week of your event, you’ll receive a coupon for saving 15% on remaining registry items in store and online
3. Easy returns

Now, let's get the Ultimate Dinner and Date-Night-In started . . .

With Valentine's Day approaching I thought it would be fun to include a printable menu that you can download and pop into a frame to add a little bit of pizazz to your romantic dinner table {don't worry, the menu download doesn't have the featured foods included so you can plan your very own appetizer, side dish, main dish and dessert}. You can of course take these ideas and use them any night of the year.

When my hubby and I were "newlyweds" and "sans kids" you could often find us eating in-front of our fireplace on the weekends in the winter months. I would drag our coffee table over and set up a pillow for each of us to sit on and of course, light a few candles. For the ultimate dinner menu, you might consider the following:
Appetizer: Strawberry Bruschetta
Side Dish: Romance in a Bowl Tossed Salad
Main Dish: Chicken Parmigiana with Buttered Pasta
Dessert: French Silk Chocolate Pie

You'll likely want to add the following items to your Target Wedding Registry so you can create the super yummy ultimate dinner to be celebrated inside {or maybe even outside in your backyard if you're lucky enough to be where it's still warm in the winter months}.

The Calphalon Cookware Set will let you not only put the Chicken Parmigiana directly into the oven to cook, you can cook and serve your pasta right in one of the pans. To make the decadent French Silk Chocolate Pie you will love mixing it in the KitchenAid Ultra Power 4.5 Qt Stand Mixer and of course you can't forget about your favorite drink of choice served in a glass from the Threshold Etched Glass Drinkware Collection.

I'd love to hear what you do for a romantic date-night-in? Do you have a favorite recipe or tip to make these special nights memorable?

Download your Free Valentine's Day Dinner Menu - comes blank so you can fill in the spaces for the appetizer, side dish, main dish and dessert. The printed size is 4x6 and you can put it in any frame you wish.

Happy New Year : Festive Napkins with Evergreens for Winter Weddings

Hoping everyone is having an amazing start to their New Year. Congratulations to all those who are newly engaged. I'll be back to regular blogging next week as I'm still taking some time away to prepare for the new year. I'm getting my planner together and prepping for some fun new additions I will be putting together for you {surprises are coming}. In the meantime, I had to share this great idea for creating festive napkins for winter weddings. Love the idea of wrapping a napkin with fancy ribbon and tucking in a sprig of evergreen. You can use a mini clothespin and attach your guests name.

Elegant Fall Party Decor : Pink and Gold Pumpkins

Today's post is look back into the archives with two of my favorite photos for fall party decor ideas. Since it's still fall, wouldn't it be fun to decorate for a bridal shower or engagement party with painted pumpkins? How about pumpkins that are painted pink, white and gold and displayed on candlesticks? Maybe even hollow out a few pumpkins and use them as vases for beautiful floral arrangements? How about having an elegant fall wedding and lining the center of the tables with gold pumpkins and pine cones on a burlap runner?

Fall Inspired Wedding Desserts

This was probably one of my favorite posts from last fall on my blog. I love the idea of serving guests something totally unexpected at bridal showers and weddings. These warm and cozy desserts are perfect for fall weddings when the air gets chilly at night or even if you plan to have a brunch the morning after the big day.

Featured Desserts Include: Caramel Apple-Cherry Pie, Chocolaty Harvest Fruit-Topped Cake, Stout Gingerbread with Lemon Sauce, Raspberry Fudge Pudding Cake, Maple Creme Brulee, Chocolate Lover's Cake {all images courtesy of BHG.com}
