Eye Candy Friday : v103 {DIY Love Copper Foil Tags}

Deeds and Petunia posted this DIY on their blog recently and I just loved the idea. These were designed with the placment being on a windowsill {I love the lighting in this photo} - but I think these would be so cute and pretty to showcase the table numbers at a bridal shower. Since centerpieces are typically on a smaller scale for showers, why not combine the flowers with the table numbers? Or, you could surprise mom this Sunday with 3 little vases that have an "M", "O", and an "M" tag hanging from them. Hoping all the mom's out there have a wonderfully Happy Mother's Day. I'm looking forward to spending the day with my daughter and mom {my father and hubby too}.

Eye Candy Friday : v102 {unique and stunning Spring florals}

I recently was able to stop by Experience and Creative Design to see their amazing spring tablescapes and floral displays and knew they'd be just perfect for today's Eye Candy Friday. {photos were taken by me}. And, something a bit different - starting tomorrow I will be sharing with you this month's Wedding Vendor Challenge so be sure to stop back on both Saturday and Sunday and all next week to see the amazing ideas the vendors have come up with.

A lush centerpiece for your Crudité Table featuring cabbage, turnips, ginger root, eggplant, artichokes, cauliflower and more.

Below: Tropical florals with fresh fruit

Below: silk bouquet with crystal napkin rings for the handle

Beautiful yellow arrangement with tulips that have been forced open - LOVE this look. And, of course I adore the arrangement with the strawberries below {remember my very first photo shoot from last summer with the strawberry themed bridal shower?}

And, I can see that masquerade masks are becoming super popular decor accents. Many of the tablescapes featured beautiful ones.

And, of course {in my opinion} every event is better with beautiful lighting - from chandeliers to hanging votives from tree branches - the perfect ambiance for your guests is easily achieved.

Eye Candy Friday : v101 {something sparkly amongst a sea of color}

Wanted to end the week with something brightly colored and of course with a bit of bling. This is such a great ring shot from Jason Angelini Photography. {see entire wedding here}

UPDATE: earlier today I put a call out on twitter to see if anybody knew what type of candy this was - and so many had ideas. I then asked Jason and found out what it is :) Take a guess and then click "read more" to see what the answer is . . .

Answer: Jason told me they are sprinkles from the ice cream bar the couple had at their reception :)

Eye Candy Friday : v100 {finding love in the most unexpected places}

Wow, I can't believe it, but I'm at my 100th Eye Candy Friday post and I just "heart" that the 100th photo is this one from Brett of Birdsong Photography. Being that it's a clover photo is perfect as it falls during the week of St. Patrick's Day, but this isn't just any clover. Brett found a one-leafed clover in Big Sur, California. I'll let Brett explain his finding in his own words: "I’d knelt down to take a shot of a random patch of clover, briefly glanced around for the ever-elusive one with four leaves, and instead found one with only one leaf. And lo and behold, it had the shape of a heart. Now, you can feel free to insert your own ”finding love in the most unexpected places” analogy here, but simply the fact that it looked like a heart and was growing quite happily having only one leaf made it pretty cool to me."

So, let me ask you - did you find your love in an unexpected place?
