And, we continue yet again with all things lilac (with the flower itself being the main focus). We now move onto the dessert. Click here to see today's earlier lilac inspiration board and lilac bouquets. Up next . . . lilac color infused dresses for bridesmaids and the mother of the bride/groom.

Since, I've been continuously posting Eye Candy Friday's, I just couldn't skip a week (see today's earlier post here). So . . . here's some delicious looking desserts I've spied over at Tastespotting and thought they'd be perfect for spring and summer bridal showers. Hope everyone has a great weekend and now I'm headed back to tackle my email inbox . . .

And, I'm sure some of you may have seen the above image from Jennifer Skog around the blog world recently, but I just couldn't resist adding it to this week's eye candy.

Currently on Best Wedding Sites {along with our other great contests this month}, you can enter to win a $50 gift certificate towards a custom gourmet cupcake baking mix order from Gourmet Gift Company. I think this favor idea is clever and is presented beautifully for your guests to take home. You can choose from either a white gloss or natural-colored box and your choice of custom label. Simply add a ribbon and you are all set. The cupcake mix flavors include: vanilla cupcake mix, chocolate cupcake mix, champagne cupcake mix and red velvet cupcake mix or the chocolate brownie mix.
The cupcake mixes are all natural with no artificial flavors or preservatives. Your guests can simply combine the mix with fresh ingredients from their kitchen, bake and enjoy. The labels can be custom printed with your name, date or personal message to your guests.

These macaroons are from Bobbette and Belle {based in Toronto, Canada} and I found out about the company via @WeddingbellsMag on twitter. I HEART their custom packaging. Bobbette and Belle even offers handpainted monograms and Macaroon Towers as an alternative to traditional wedding cakes. How sweet is that?
Carlos Baez recently posted the above images to his blog - and all I can say is WOW!!! While the cost of the items in this wedding are more than likely out of the price range for most brides {ex: $5,000 for custom Christian Louboutin's shoes made in Paris}, it's definitely fun to look at the gorgeous photos of the wedding shoes and gown. And, you just have to read more about the bride's wedding gown on Carlos' blog {all I'm going to say is 12 ft. of train and skirt . . . }
