Aqua Blue Tropical Wedding Inspiration with the Most Unique Wedding Gift, the iBoard Ironing Board

As the temperatures are getting chillier, the idea of a tropical wedding sounds absolutely wonderful. Today's wedding board was inspired by the most amazing ironing board {this is proof yet again, that inspiration really can come from anywhere}. This ironing board is called the iBoard and truly is one of the best wedding gifts if you are looking for something a bit out of the ordinary for the soon to be married {or even for yourself}. It's unique and unexpected, yet it's sure to be a favorite of the bride and groom. Huge thanks to iBoard for letting me try out their largest size - it really is squeak-free {not one little sound came out of it as I opened it up}. It's also super sturdy and doesn't shake back and forth as I'm ironing. Another great extra feature is the little pull out section that lets you rest your iron there to warm up {no more worrying about the iron falling over as you don't need to rest it on the ironing board itself}. Also, with this pull-out section, you can use it as a clothes hanger. Such a brilliant design. The cover is available in a tropical Hawaiian flower pattern in both aqua blue or grey and really does resemble a surf board. You can even purchase the special hanger they have so when the iBoard ironing board isn't in use, you can hang it up out of the way. {see below for the aqua blue tropical wedding inspiration board}

A Unique and Stylish Halloween Wedding Inspiration Board {from the archives}

One of my post popular Halloween Wedding posts is this inspiration board which features 9 fun, unique and stylish things to incorporate into a Halloween Themed Wedding. An excerpt from the original post:

Simply start with black and white as the base color palette and then you can add punches of color - purple, orange and even bright green are all great choices for Halloween. How perfect is the downloadable "Dim the Lights and Keep Moving" poster for a wedding reception? I also love the idea of a more intimate wedding where you would marry in-front of a decorated mantle or an antique piano, like the one shown below.

1. Painted and glittered pumpkins {faux or real} in silver & black are the perfect decor accent
2. Happy Halloween banner {downloadable}
3. Paper flower wreaths are great for decor or on the entrance way to event
4. "join us . . . if you dare" Halloween Party Invitation
5. Can never go wrong with feathers {like a feather bouquet}, photo by Jessica Frey Photography
6. Black potted trees are great for centerpieces
7. Typographical Halloween Poster to set the mood, like this "Dim the Lights and Keep Moving" poster {downloadable}
8. Black and White Place Setting with DIY black-and-white cloth napkins
9. Black candy buffet with elegant yet eerie labels, ex. Twisted Treats, Witch's Sticks {downloadable labels}

An Acorn & Squirrel Fall Themed Wedding Inspiration Board

Last year I created a wedding inspiration board for an acorn themed wedding {seen here}. Since several of the items I featured are no longer available - I decided to keep some of my favorites and update the "outdated" items with amazing items that are available {plus an additional squirrel item}. I love the colors of fall and with this Acorn and Squirrel Themed Wedding Inspiration Board, I combined creams and pearls with the brown shades and just love the elegance of it all.

And, I had to end the post with the rustic wedding cake in it's full size :)

A Frozen Winter Wedding Inspiration Board : Ice Blue & Silver with Snowflakes

Today's Wedding Inspiration Board is from a few years ago that Laura of Eye Candy Creative Studio created for me. It's the perfect one to share today as this afternoon is the first of 2 "recital" performances for my daughter's summer dance camp. We're down to the last two classes for the Frozen Fantasy of her modern dance classes she's been taking each week this summer and I can't wait to see her in the roles of Elsa and Anna. The original post from Laura can be found here and is filled with details for each photo so you can easily implement the element into your event.
