Today we are joined by Micha Everett of Memories by Micha {a lifestyle and wedding photographer on the Emerald Coast of Florida} to share with you the wedding of David and Amanda. They were married on May 16, 2009. My favorite is of the beautiful bride {whose hair style I LOVE btw!} in her cowboy boots sitting on the bar. I love the bridal portraits - great combo of happy bride and moody poses with the textured backgrounds.Vendor List for David and Amanda's wedding:
Ceremony: Liberty Baptist Church
Reception: Honky Tonk (owned by the bride's family)
Make up: Jennifer at AH HA Boutique and Nails
Hair: Beyond Bliss (which is the bride's hair salon, her employee Becky did her hair)

Today's lovely Real Wedding comes to us from Kricia Morris Photography in Florida. Kricia was so kind to ask Amberly to send us some details on her wedding. The wedding took place in Pensacola, FL on March 7, 2009 and the bride writes:
----------
"I wore a strapless A-line dress with beaded gold corded lace from David's Bridal. The gold lavaliere necklace I wore was my great grandmother's. We used my parents champagne glasses for the toast. My parents engraved our names along side theirs. I thought that was really cool. The bridesmaids dresses were in truffle. The only rules I gave them was that it had to be in truffle and tea length. They were free to choose the style of dress and shoes they liked best. The girls wore the pearl necklaces I gave them. The guys' tuxes came from MW Tux. Nate wore champagne and the boys wore truffle.
My hair was done by Jacob Head at Profiles Salon. Makeup done by Heath Blackwood at MAC.

The idea of giving your bridesmaids a color and length of dress, and letting them choose their own that suits them, as well as the shoes is great! I LOVE how each bridesmaids style is shown in her shoes {see photo below}.continuing from Amberly {the bride}:
As for flowers, Linda King only did the bridesmaids and my bouquet and Nate's and the groomsmen boutonnieres. My mom and a friend made the alter arrangements and other boutonnieres/corsages. Eleanor Buskirk made the cakes. Mine was alternating layers of amaretto with raspberry filling and chocolate. The groom's was Nate's favorite carrot cake. Nate can never have too many flashlights. He loves them for some crazy reason. That's why we decorated the cake that way. Everything else was done by my mom, Katherine Costello, with help from friends and family.
Nate and I met while working at Portofino Resort on Pensacola Beach. We started dating a couple of weeks before Hurricane Ivan hit. Being without a job, electricity, and water for weeks gave us the chance to really get know each other. We've been together ever since."Thank you so much Amberly and Nate for sharing your day with us and to Kricia of Kricia Morris Photography for taking such lovely photos.
