Real Wedding : a spectacular pink and orange beach affair

Even though the weather isn't as cold up here in the north as it has been, there's still snow on the ground and I'm already wishing for spring. So, to help me feel a little warmer I wanted to showcase an amazing Florida beach wedding today. It was photographed by the lovely Leslie of Leslie Roark Photography, whom I've had the pleasure to meet in person. Last October, Leslie came up to New Jersey for a destination wedding, so myself, hubby and daughter drove down to meet her for a family photo session and my biz headshots. She's such a sweetheart. Thank you again Leslie for the wonderful photos and memories. And, now onto today's wedding...

David and Christine's beach wedding was held in Navarre and I love the pink and orange color scheme, so perfect for a Florida wedding. The brides Maggie Sottero gown was gorgeous and just wait until you see the sunset shot. Probably one of my favs and would be so perfect for a canvas print. I also love the bridesmaids bouquets, simple yet so perfect with their dresses.

Thank you so much Leslie for sharing this spectacular wedding with my readers today. To see more from David and Christine's wedding, please click here.

Real Wedding : an Elegant Rustic Fall Wedding at a Ranch

Today's Real Wedding is a beautifully elegant rustic wedding held at the Black Diamond Ranch in Lecanto, FL. Sarah and Roger's wedding was photographed by Becka and Nate of Studio 222 Photography and coordinated by Lauren of Every Last Detail. The ceremony was held overlooking a natural limestone quarry and there's just the perfect amount of fall touches with the pumpkins {even DIY glittered ones}, grapevine wreaths, candlelit mason jars, and more.

During portrait time, Becka says they were assaulted by sandspurs, so they decided to give them a staring role for the ring shot.

The lighting is stunning for the group shots.

I love the idea of using mason jars, not only are they budget-friendly, but they are so beautiful, especially with the reflection of candlelight. And, they can easily be used again for future parties to hold either votives or fresh cut flowers.

Aren't these send off seed packets adorable? Sarah created them herself. She bought small glassine bags, stuffed them with seeds, and then sewed on a little tag. The guests simply tore off the tag and the bag was open and ready to use.

Congratulations Sarah and Roger. You can see more of their gorgeous rustic wedding here and here. And, recently Sarah took over the reins of a Tuesday blog post while Becka and Nate were on vacation. You can see the "interview with a newlywed : Sarah 10.17.09" here as she gives you some behind the scenes details of her most beautiful fall wedding.

And, a thank you to Becka and Nate for sharing this wedding with my readers today. To see more from Studio 222 Photography, please visit their web site and blog.

Real Wedding : Jenna and Barry in Florida {beach island}

Today's Real Wedding was held at the Marco Island, Marriott Resort and Spa in Florida (including the spectacular Trash the Dress session, which will be posted a bit later this morning). The wedding of Jenna and Barry was photographed by Roger of Thomspson Photos who traveled from Tulsa to Florida to take the photos. Many of the details at their wedding including the sand dollar escort cards, paint brushes, pails, etc. were created by the bride and/or her creative sister. Enjoy the wedding and then be sure to come back a little later this morning for Jenna and Barry's Trash the Dress session which includes the use of a gorgeous parasol created by Cherin of Customized Wedding Creations. It's one you won't want to miss.
Congratulations to Jenna and Barry and thank you to Roger of Thompson Photos for sharing these photos with my readers today. Don't forget to check back in a little while when Jenna and Barry's Trash the Dress session will be posted. It's a must see.

Real Beach Wedding - Dan and Andrea in Florida {part 2}

Earlier today we starting featuring the wedding of Dan and Andrea in St. George Island (Aisle of Palms) in Florida at the Beach House. Photography is by the amazingly talented husband and wife team at Beach Bum Photography in Pensacola, FL. We now continue with the reception, but first is a cute posed shot of the bride with her bridesmaids. I've been seeing this shot more and more and I have to admit, I really like it. The centerpieces are so simple, yet so lovely - clear vases filled with sand, candles, shells and a starfish. While I love floral centerpieces too, it's nice to see something different and unexpected.
Along with Beach Bum Photography's gorgeous photos, other vendors included:
Florist - Seahorse Gifts & Florist
Caterer - My Caterer
DJ - GT Entertainment
Beach House - St. George Island (Aisle of Palms)

Thank you Jessica for taking the time to send me this lovely wedding to share with my readers. And, congrats to the beautiful couple, Dan and Andrea.

Coming up early this afternoon I'll be showcasing coordinating beach invitations from eInvite.

Real Beach Wedding - Dan and Andrea in Florida

I'm thinking this week is going to be all about Real Weddings, Engagement Shoots and more. I've been receiving some wonderful Real Weddings and Engagement Shoots lately, but I'm quickly falling behind in featuring them, so it's time to post like crazy and share them with you. Today's Real Wedding comes to us from Jessica of Beach Bum Photography in Pensacola, FL - the wedding was held at St. George Island (Aisle of Palms) in Florida at the Beach House. The combination of the rustic wooden signs with natural elements like the starfish is perfect. And, what a gorgeous day for a beach wedding!
coming up next, the reception for Dan and Andrea . . .
