Today's gorgeous peachy pink styled shoot from Kevyn Dixon Photo has such a wonderful love story behind it as it features a real-life husband and wife as the models. When the couple first met, the then boyfriend, left for basic training for the Air Force after just 10 months of dating. For the next 10 weeks, they could only write letters to each other. As, the bride writes - "Handwritten letters…something so foreign to our generation, but so romantic." The proposal happened one month before the groom to be left for his first deployment. The wedding planning happened while he was away and a month after being home, the wedding of their dreams happened. I love what the bride wrote next . . . "Through this love story, there is a lot of distance. But in the end, love prevailed!"
On the day of the wedding, the couple {who says they are quite traditional} did not talk but exchanged letters and took a moment to pray together before our ‘I dos’. The bride writes ... "The day was beautiful! I remember crying during the last dance, realizing the day was almost over. It was the perfect day and I did not want it to end. I didn’t realize that the best was yet to come." Fast forward to the styled shoot . . . and here's what the bride writes: "I had the chance to put my wedding dress back on and my husband his suit for a styled wedding shoot. We of course jumped at the opportunity. The day of anyone’s wedding is amazing and crazy, but there is never enough time in the day. Pictures are missed and moments that can not be captured on camera. There is something magical about being a bride and groom again. The feelings and sentiments come flooding back. The reasons you fell in love are reawakened. My husband is leaving for his second deployment soon. As times get hard, and the distance gets further, I will always remember why I said I do then and why I would say I do all over again. He is my better half and together we are whole!"

I have something beyond gorgeous to share with you today as we head into the weekend. It's a beautiful styled shoot collaboration between Madeline's Weddings & Events and Ana from AMC Studio. Madeline's team was inspired by the beautiful colors that their brides are loving right now so they decided to use champagne, blush and gold to create a romantic and whimsical look. The chiffon rosette linens are so soft and pretty when paired with the blush sequins that are modern and fun. The result is a classic and feminine style that would appeal to anyone. Pops of pink were added to the rosette sweet heart table by using blush roses in the arrangements and a champagne pink runner. The blush sequin guest table featured a lush and dramatic centerpiece consisting of blush orchids, roses and white hydrangea. The gorgeous custom ivory and blush stationery set and with the gold accents on both tables was created by Madeline's in-house stationery designer. The stationery tied everything from this styled shoot together perfectly.
