New Online Wedding Registries
I've received several emails in the past few days about new registries and wanted to share them with you. 
The first gift registry is from Lucas and his newlywed wife who started Wedding Registry Direct. The idea for this registry came to them while planning their own wedding. They thought, "Wouldn't it be awesome if we could register for products from our own vendors?. That way our guests at our wedding could buy us extra flowers or a photograph book instead of just a blender." With this type of registry, couples register for personalized gifts from their own wedding vendors.
I think this type of registry is ideal for couples who already have the typical registry items, are looking for something different and unique, or if it's a second marriage. If your family is the traditional type, I'm not quite sure you would be able to present this type of registry to them. But, I could be totally wrong. What do you think? The second gift registry is from Thos. Moser (designers and builders of heirloom quality hand-crafted wood furniture). They have just unveiled their new online gift registry where where gift givers will be able to either order gift items alone or contribute to a group gift. The gift registry program includes gift choices from Thos. Moser's collection of dining tables and chairs, beds, desks, accessories, custom designs and much more.

Gift registry accounts have automatic end dates two years after the event date, and shipping charges and taxes are included in the prices. Commemorative plaques or inscriptions can be added for an additional fee. Once pieces have been purchased, there is an approximate three month wait time for items to be built, as there is with all of Thos. Moser's furniture. Users can access the registry at www.thosmoser.com, at the Customer Care Center at 1-877-708-1973, or any of the national showrooms.
