Last Minute Fall Inspiration for Table Settings
Please note: there won't be a new giveaway launching this week due to Thanksgiving - but, the great wedding DVD momento giveaway that started last week is still running, so please be sure to enter today for your chance to win - I'll select a winner next Tuesday.
With Thanksgiving coming up on Thursday, I thought I'd share with you some last minute inspiring ideas for fall decor and table settings. Whether you're planning a fall wedding or need some inspiration for a gathering this week - here's some of the favorites I've come across.
Harvest Place Setting - a scallop-edged rectangle that is embellished with a silk ribbon is propped russet-tinged pear.
Sumptuous Centerpiece - a centerpiece as colorful as the rest of the table but kept compact so it doesn't interfere with the passing of dishes.

Gilded Centerpiece - a gilded pitcher is filled with a brilliant bouquet of roses, dahlias and rose hips. You can lightly spray flower petals and rose hips with gold paint to echo the glint of the pitcher.
Bountiful Centerpiece - candles are wrapped in green beans or asparagus or hollow out a bit of the center of an artichoke to create a unique centerpiece with green vegetables.

Harvest of Flowers - small pumpkins are easily transformed into a beautiful bouquet of blooms by hot gluing mums in harvest colors to the pumpkins.
Floral Pumpkin - a block of soaked florist's foam was carved into a sphere and then placed on a cake stand. Orange mums were cut short and inserted into the foam. The faux stem is from a woody branch. The pumpkin is finished off with a few leaves and a twine of berries.
