Winners Announced : A Sweet Set {parasol, flower brooches, garters}

It's now time to announce the three winning recipients of the great prizes from the recent Style Me Pretty Inspiration to Reality photo shoot. A special thank you to Cherin of Customized Wedding Creations, Marie of Emici Bridal, and Julianne of The Garter Girl for making the last giveaway of 2010 an amazing one. But, don't worry, giveaways will resume again as soon as January comes.

I asked entrants to tell me their favorite detail from the inspiration shoot and how they plan to use the prizes:

The Grand Prize winner is Lauren who wins the hand-painted Kiss parasol, 2 hand-made dupioni silk peony flowers {one large in teal and one small in brown}, and a garter. Megan wrote: "My fiance and I are getting married August 27th 2011. This shoot has been a major inspiration to our wedding planning. My favorite color is teal and we had been planning a beach wedding until my grandfather was diagnosed with cancer. We are moving the wedding closer to home so that he is able to attend but the beautiful flowers and parasol would bring the feeling of the beach to us. :)"

The second place winner is Claire who wins one large teal flower and one small brown flower with a garter. Claire wrote "My favorite detail is actually the use of the bread slices in a beautiful basket as part of the centerpiece. I always love when people use delicious-looking food as part of the centerpiece, it's gorgeous, and because it gets consumed, eco-friendly! I would use the prize in our wedding next year, 9/4/11, by using the parasol in our "first look" shoot out on the (hopefully!) sunny lawn of our wedding venue. The flowers I think I would actually use to decorate our ring pillow, and of course I'd be wearing the garter!"

The third place winner is Chelsea who wins one small brown flower with a garter as well. Chelsea wrote "My favorite detail from the inspiration board shoot is the shot of the bouquet. I love the "blinged" flower on the handle. I would use the parasol in photos, use the silk flowers for my flower girl's headband and basket, and I would use the garter. :) June 25, 2011."

Congratulations Lauren, Claire and Chelsea - I'll be emailing each of you personally today for your mailing address. Please note: winner(s) have 48 business hours to reply or another winner will be selected.
