And, the winner is Alicia who wrote: "When I was in 5th grade as part of a class project I had to write a letter to a newspaper in another state asking locals to send me information so I could do a report on their state. I selected Vermont and several people replied however I maintained a pen-pal type relationship with one particular lady. She and I wrote letters throughout my childhood and we still keep in touch to this day. One Christmas she sent me a snowflake ornament that she had crocheted. It is beautiful and so meaningful to me. It symbolizes what the kindness of a stranger can do in your life. My wedding date is October 15th, 2010 and I hope she will be able to come!"
