Real Wedding : "classic is memorable, but surprises are fun"
Before I say anything about today's wedding, I have to start with a quote from the bride, "I feel every bride should have the Audrey Hepburn class, but the Marilyn Monroe edge on her wedding day! Classic is memorable, but surprises are fun!" And, with that quote, I know you will love today's wedding of Jonathan and Nikki, photographed by Rob Mould Photography.

And, no, your eyes are not playing tricks on you. Nikki did change into a pink wedding gown for the reception. Before she purchased her ivory wedding dress, Nikki was torn between a classic wedding dress and wearing something more contemporary. Nikki wrote: "The details of how a wedding should be have been so modernized recently, but I've always dreamed of having that classic inspired wedding with a 'touch of me' in it." After trying on her first dress, the ivory gown {a Private Label by G}, Nikki never ever tried on another dress. But, she still felt that she needed something flowy, light and fun for the reception. Being such a "Barbie Girl" as Nikki put it, she looked for nearly a month to find a pink dress. And, when she went to the bridal shop to pay for her first dress, she spied the pink Sherri Hill dress and immediately tried it on.
At the reception, the pink dress was a total surprise to everyone {except for her Maid of Honor and Events Coordinator at the Expo Center}. And, Nikki topped off the pink dress with a pair of pink Badgley Mischka's and pink pearls - such a perfect match. And, I LOVE the pink dress.
