This and That : a new magazine + great wedding shopping ideas
1. Earlier this week, the latest issue of The Best Wedding Sites Magazine was published and I just wanted to take a moment to thank my lovely sponsors that have helped make this issue such a success, starting with the following vendors for providing such wonderful articles . . . Hills of Africa {honeymooning in Africa - an eco-destination}, Carey of Lasso'd Moon {eco-friendly wedding invitations} and Katie of Eco-Beautiful Weddings {green and stylish weddings}.
And, thank you to the following sponsors:
Daisy Days {be sure to check out the magazine for a special discount}, Reception Halls, Tiffany Saxton Designs, Customized Wedding Creations, RBK Creations, Weddings Are Fun, MagdaLinen, The Garter Girl, The Favour Shoppe, Elegantly Green Wedding Showcase,
And lastly, a thank you to the following wedding vendors/bloggers who also joined this issue in sharing their favorite handmade "green" gift picks: Papermints, The Charity Wedding, Make Believe'N, and Glamour and Grace.
2. Very few fashion sites and stores carry bridal wear for Indian weddings, but right now, the largest online Indian retail site, exclusively.in, is featuring some of the most exquisite and unique items that can outfit an entire wedding party. The site is featuring bridal saris and lengas from the hottest Indian designers, as well as outfits for men participating and attending a wedding. Visit exclusively.in and sign-up (membership is free).
3. Shabby Apple has added new dresses to its Maternity line {Mama Apple} and all dresses are under $100. These dresses are great for your bridesmaids that might be expecting at the time of your wedding or maybe even for the expectant bride - don't you love the white dress? If paired with a chunky choker necklace it would look so pretty, although I do love it paired with the hairband in the model's hair. You could even add a pretty shawl too to dress it up a bit and add a pop of color.
4. Othelia Grace is an online vintage inspired bridal accessories retailer. Inspired by the classics, Othelia Grace pulls inspiration from their frequent trips to the vintage markets of London and Paris.
5. The Frosted Petticoat carries a line of Couture Ring Pillow Boxes - an alternative way to do the "ring pillow".
