Photo Shoot : Evening Tea Bridal Shower
It's time for Day 2 of the May Wedding Vendor Challenges. Starting yesterday and continuing tomorrow, I'll be showcasing amazing inspiration for you to use at bridal showers, weddings or any other party you have planned. This months color palette was periwinkle blue, mango orange and lemon yellow. And, like last month, I asked vendors to create a bridal shower tablescape with a dessert display and just like the other challenges, there will be at least one DIY provided. Today's is a special DIY as it's one to create a beautiful display of light - you'll love it.
This gorgeous tablescape was photographed by Kristin Rogers Photography and designed by Bre {Style}. Ashley of Lemon and Lavender joined the team with her beautiful paper designs and many other vendors came on board to make this shoot a truly lovely evening tea. I love all the vintage accents that were incorporated - oh, and do you see the tabletop? It's a salvaged door - such a great idea for re-purposing.
Kristin explains the teams idea behind this shoot's design . . . "We were like minded on the use of color palette right off the bat. Those colors are bright and bold, but we wanted them aged and subtle…but there. We wanted our shoot to have an old theme with charm and warmth, so we did it at night (which was a lot of work using a tripod for ALL the shots). I just love what we got and I would just love to attend a bridal shower with this feel and atmosphere."
And, since I totally agree, but Kristin says it so well - I'll leave this in her words . . . "I was stoked to have so many talented vendors want to be on board for this shoot and some of them worked their tails off to pull this off. Every contribution added so much!"
