A Romantic Champagne & Ivory Photo Shoot + pink and chocolates

Today's gorgeous photo shoot features champagne and ivory with beautiful pink romantic flowers and yummy chocolate desserts. The design comes to us from Colleen of Bellissimo Weddings and Events with beautiful photography from the husband and wife team of Scott Kretschmann Photography. At the end of the photos, you will find a coordinating color palette for your use.

I will now turn the blog over to Colleen as she explains the design and ideas behind the photo shoot.

My inspiration for this shoot was the Federal Room at The Century House. I have always admired the built in wine rack and the enourmous mantle on the fireplace. I knew I wanted to create something that coordinated well with this room. I happened to find a wine box in the basement at The Century House and asked Michelle at Ambiance Floral if she could create something unique for me. I told her my vision of pale pink romantic flowers that would coordinate with the champagne and ivory linens I had already chosen. She created the perfect centerpiece and bouquet to fit the theme.

I had recently stumbled upon a tutorial for a DIY coffee filter garland so with the shoot I had the perfect opportunity to make one to showcase a simple and inexpensive way to add unique details to your wedding day.

The dessert cart is a vintage piece that is on display in The Century House main dining room and is the perfect element for a small dessert station. I decided to incorporate some of my favorite treats from my childhood in to the dessert station...mini chocolate donuts and hostess cupcakes YUMMY!

Rebecca at The Pink Orange created the gorgeous stationery from her Clementine collection, as well as the table numbers and favors. When I saw the table number used for this shoot I immediately knew that it was a perfect fit and would tie in to the look I was was going for.
