When I came across these two totally separate photos on pinterest I immediately knew they were meant to go together {well, at least that's what my mind told me}. Why not go against all traditional holiday colors and have a vintage pastel holiday party? Of course, this theme would even work for a holiday or winter wedding too. Color Palette: cranberry red, evergreen and gold

Hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving holiday. Now, that the holiday season has officially started, I'm excited to get started with some holiday inspiration boards. I have quite a few already in progress. Today's board is for those planning a holiday themed bridal shower. The theme is accented with the use of cranberries as a decorative element.

One cute idea for a holiday bridal shower would be to have a Christmas tree on display {or one mini tree at each guest table} and have the guests bring an ornament to help decorate the couple's first tree. Guests can put the ornaments on the tree as they arrive.

Another idea is to have the bridal shower party be a dessert tea party. Each guest could bring along their favorite holiday cookie or dessert with the recipe for the bride to keep and add to her recipe box.
