A chocolate kiss to be exact. Photographed by Ashley Therese Photography at an engagement party.
Today's wedding from Ashley Therese Photography is a beautiful Stamford, Connecticut Wedding. It was a crystal clear day that transitioned into a warm summer night. Just perfect for the release of floating lanterns at dusk. Jerry and Jeanie released the lanterns in memory of one of their parents who had passed away. I love when couples do something sweet and special in memory of a loved one. Ashley says the "sky glowed with the warm lights that smoothly floated away into the heavens. It was a moving moment that no one at the wedding will soon forget." And, the wedding celebration ended with cupcakes, dancing, fruit crepes, and fabulous music.
Isn't Jeanie a stunning bride?
I've been seeing more and more of these lantern launches lately, seems to be more commen overseas. For the launches, you basically hold the paper lantern up and light the candle underneath. Once the paper lantern fills with hot air it eventually and slowly begins to float into the sky. Once the flame burns out they will float back down to the ground where ever that may be. Has anybody seen one of these lantern launches in person?
Thank you Ashley for sharing today's beautiful wedding with my readers. To see more from Ashley Therese Photography, please visit her web site and blog.
