A pink and grey wedding with a Vietnamese ceremony in Buffalo, NY

So excited to share todays wedding with you. Some of you might remember Kathy and Felipe's engagement session in Chicago last year. They found their photographer Brett of Birdsong Photography after seeing his work on my blog, which totally makes me smile. Today, I have their gorgeous wedding to share with you that took place in Buffalo, NY. The wedding day festivities started at eight in the morning and finished around 11 at night. There was even the traditions and customs of the Vietnamese ceremony incorporated into their wedding day.

Real Wedding : a beautiful dock and twinkling lights in Destin, Florida

Today's wedding of Shana and David was photographed by Brett of Birdsong Photography. There was a beautiful dock that provided a great photo opportunity for the couple after the ceremony. And, there was even lights hanging over the outdoor area where the couple danced at night. The wedding, held at Cabana Blue, even has an in-house bakery which provided the beautiful cake for dessert. The night ended with a grand exit of the bride and groom in a vintage car. I'm in love with every part of this wedding - especially the shots of the couple after their first look!!!!

Eye Candy Friday : v100 {finding love in the most unexpected places}

Wow, I can't believe it, but I'm at my 100th Eye Candy Friday post and I just "heart" that the 100th photo is this one from Brett of Birdsong Photography. Being that it's a clover photo is perfect as it falls during the week of St. Patrick's Day, but this isn't just any clover. Brett found a one-leafed clover in Big Sur, California. I'll let Brett explain his finding in his own words: "I’d knelt down to take a shot of a random patch of clover, briefly glanced around for the ever-elusive one with four leaves, and instead found one with only one leaf. And lo and behold, it had the shape of a heart. Now, you can feel free to insert your own ”finding love in the most unexpected places” analogy here, but simply the fact that it looked like a heart and was growing quite happily having only one leaf made it pretty cool to me."

So, let me ask you - did you find your love in an unexpected place?

Real Engagement : love in the windy city {aka Chicago, IL}

Today's engagement session from Brett of Birdsong Photography holds a special place my heart as Kathy and Felipé found Brett thru my site and then booked him for their engagement session in Chicago and their wedding later this summer in Buffalo, NY. I'm so happy when I hear stories like this. And, I just love the photos below with amazing architecture of the cityscape and the sweet love between Kathy and Felipé.

Real Engagement : what happens in vegas . . . far off a main road

Today's engagement session was photographed by Brett of Birdsong Photography amidst the scorpions and snakes {and even mountain goats} at the Eldorado Canyon Mine Tours in Nelson, NV, just outside of Las Vegas. Despite the need to watch where you step, isn't this location great? My favorite is probably the photo of the yellow bus with the bride to be in the red and black dress - such a terrific contrast.

Thank you Brett for sharing this spectacular engagement shoot with my readers today. To see more from Brett, please visit his web site/blog.
