Charleston, South Carolina Destination Wedding

Type of wedding: outdoors
Number of guests: 120
Colors: brown, purple, green
Theme: orchids, oyster shells

Bart and Heather are college sweethearts and their wedding day was absolutely gorgeous. Don't you just love the brides ruffled shoes? The beautiful photographs are by Chi Photography of Charleston and when they asked the couple for their most valuable piece of advice, here's what they said. "Eat first! Don’t get caught up talking to everyone." For the brides "something old" she had her mother's lace on her garter and her grandmother's pearls on her bracelet and earrings. Her "something new" was her wedding dress and shoes. "Something borrowed" was her sister's ring and the "something blue" was the bottom of her shoes and her grandmother's broach on her garter.

Real Wedding : a relaxed and casual southern wedding in Charleston

Location: Charleston, South Carolina
Guest Count: 100

Today's beautifully relaxed and casual southern wedding comes to us from Chi Photography. Sarah and Frank's ceremony and reception was held at the Charleston Place Hotel - the original plans were for a beach ceremony. But, when it rained on their wedding day, everything was moved inside.

I'm loving Sarah's something old, new, borrowed, and blue items:
Something old: Great Grandmother’s ring
Something new: The dress
Something borrowed: Mother’s pearl earrings, necklace and bracelet
Something blue: Her toenails were painted Tiffany Blue

Sarah took on some wedding projects herself including the invitations, programs and favors. Sarah calls there projects her "thriftiest trick". I love the wedding colors were of green, ivory and yellow - so bright and cheery.

Sarah remembers her most unforgettable moment as when she walked down the aisle and her and Frank saw each other for the first time. She says they ere both excited, nervous, happy and overwhelmed with emotion.

Thank you Chi for sharing today's lovely wedding with my readers. To see more from Chi Photography, please visit her web site and blog.
