Today's gorgeous pink and black and white damask themed wedding was photographed by Hilton Pittman Photography at The Landmark Gardens. The bride and groom, Kelly and Kortney went to the same high school but never knew each other. It wasn't until after college that they ended up meeting at a party. They danced all night and went on a date the next week. From Kelly and Kortney, "We knew almost immediately that we'd both found "the one" but were both too chicken to say it, so we started saying "elephant shoe" to each other because when it's mouthed it looks like you're saying "I love you". A month after we met, Kortney invited me on a lake trip with all his friends. On that lake trip, we talked about "our future wedding" and how awesome it would be to have elephant ears at our wedding because of the whole elephant shoe thing. So the next month we said "I love you" and went ring shopping, and 5 months after our first date Kortney proposed to me on the beach at Emerald Isle in between sand sculptures of an elephant and a shoe." So, as I'm sure you can guess, elephants were incorporated into their wedding.
