Real Weding : The Indian Wedding - the color and excitement

Earlier this morning I posted the first of the 2-day Indian festivities for the wedding of Seema and Anuj, photographed by Binita Patel Photography. Now, it's time to share their wedding with you. Seema and Anuj's reception will take place in India. A milestone was marked with Seema and Anuj's wedding being the first of 9 cousins to marry. Friends and family from all over the world gathered for this special day. The elegant red, white and gold decor for their wedding is simply breathtaking.

Thank you so much Binita for sharing this amazing Indian wedding with my readers today. To see more spectactular photography from Binita Patel Photography please visit her web site and blog.

Real Wedding : The Sangeet - amazing colors and Indian festivities

Today's wedding is a two part blog post. First up from the Indian wedding of Seema & Anuj is the Sangeet which is first of a colorful 2-day affair as Indian weddings are generally a multi-day affair. This gorgeous affair was photographed by Binita Patel Photography and explains that the Sangeet is a traditional North Indian pre-wedding celebration consisting of music and dance. And, I love what Binita had to say about the couple, "Anuj REALLY, REALLY makes Seema laugh and smile. A sure recipe for marriage success!"

Please check back in a little while to see the second day of Seema and Anuj's Indian festivities. The elegantly rich red, white and gold decor colors are unbelievable and I'll also have the full vendor list for you.

Real Indian Wedding : Maya and Rob in Malibu

I'm so excited about today's cultural Real Wedding - it's the first Indian wedding I've featured. And, I LOVE IT!!! The colors . . . the beautiful bride . . . the location . . . its's stunning. This wedding was sent to me by Suzanne of Suzanne Karp Photography. It's always so great to be introduced to another amazing wedding talent {thank you Tracy from The Buttercream Studio for mentioning my blog to Suzanne}. The wedding of Maya and Rob merged two cultures together {Indian and Jewish} for one spectacular event that took place on Saturday August 29th at Cypress Cove in Malibu.
Thank you Suzanne for sending over this absolutely gorgeous wedding to share with my readers today. To see more of Suzanne's work, please visit her web site and blog.
