A Red, White & Blue Bouquet + A DIY Vintage Americana Wedding

Before I share with you a holiday blast from the past - I have to share with you this festive patriotic bouquet from TheBouqs and it's only $40. You will receive Red, White, & Blue Roses shipped farm direct from an active volcano with Free Shipping. It's the perfect centerpiece or even bridal bouquet for  your festive 4th of July themed wedding or party.

Now, it's time for a gorgeous DIY holiday wedding, photographed by Rebecca Watkins Photography. This couple married on July 6th and their vintage Americana wedding was inspired by the Fourth of July and Kelly's grandfather {who had worked for Coca Cola for nearly 40 years}. Real Wedding : July 4th Modern Country Wedding {part 3}

We now contine with the July 4th wedding of Christina and Tim that took place on the family farm, photographed by the sweet and talented Jen of JK Photography. I just love how the details in this wedding were DIY creations by the bride and groom themselves. And, those wedding cakes are just too cute. They were custom-designed by Cake Sensations by Laura.
I HEART the above image. It's such a beautifully captured shot and the bride looks exceptionally radiant, love it in black and white too.
Thank you much Jen of JK Photography for sharing the most amazing wedding with my readers today. And, congratulations to Christina and Tim on your recent marriage. More photos from this wedding can be seen here.

Real Wedding : July 4th Modern Country Wedding {part 2}

Today I am featuring one of the most beautiful outdoor weddings that took place on July 4th and was photographed by Jen of JK Photography. Jen says, "The wedding took place on Tim's family farm and the clydesdale that pulled Christina down to the ceremony site is a show horse owned by Tim's mom, his name is Duke."
Notice the initials carved into the tree right over the spot where Christina and Tim said their vows? The carving was done a year ago when the couple decided to have their wedding at the farm. So sweet!

And, there's still more to come from this July 4th wedding in Michigan, so please do check back early this afternoon for even more from Christina and Tim's lovely event.

Real Wedding : July 4th Modern Country Wedding

I recently featured a lovely DIY lemonade stand in the Wedding Edibles section of the blog from Jen of JK Photography. Well, the wedding that served this lemonade to it's guests is filled with so many amazing details that I'm excited to say that Jen of JK Photography has given me the privilege to feature this absolutely beautiful wedding that took place on the 4th of July. The wedding of Christina and Tim is the perfect mix of patriotism and modern-country. First up . . . the stunning details that greeted guests as they entered the wedding at the 100 year old farm house. Just about all of the details in this wedding were DIY projects, and both Christina and Tim helped plan this wedding. Jen says "It was truly one of the most unique weddings I have ever photographed!"
Stay tuned, there's so much more to come from this beautiful outdoor wedding of Christina and Tim from Jen of JK Photography.
