Elegant Purple and Orange Florida Wedding from Kismis Ink Photography with Cuban Heritage Influences

I'm so excited to start this week off as I have one of the most amazing weddings to share with you. This Tampa, Florida wedding was photographed by Mariana and Khaled of Kismis Ink Photography and is absolutely stunning and the details are captured perfectly. Not only is the brides dress a "super wow" one with beading and a feathery style but wait until you see the wedding cake. Let's get started with some photos of Nicole and Keily's wedding and then more details on the special day . . .

Nicole's purple feathered high heels and feathered-fascinator {seen a few photos down} are pure gorgeousness.

Loving the details on the wedding gown and don't you just love Nicole's purple garter that matches her shoes so perfectly?

Nicole got ready for her wedding in the Bridal Suite of the Don Vicente. This historic inn was built in 1895 and features Persian rugs, ornate furniture, and lacy, elaborate cast iron balconies. Miriana says "Nicole and Keily's first look seems as if it's a scene from an old romantic Spanish film".

The church Nicole and Keily married in opened in 1905 and most of the church's interior design is just as it was a century ago with the Romanesque architecture and seventy stunning stained glass windows.

Nicole is the daughter of Cuban immigrants and their reception was held at the The Cuban Club which was once a unifying force in the Cuban community. Aren't the feathered centerpieces amazing? So different, yet perfect for the setting of this wedding. And, that cake? WOW!!! Loving the bling between the layers.

Have to send Mariana a HUGE thank you for letting me share this spectacular wedding with you today.

Day After Session : captured in just the nick of time

Earlier today I shared with you the lovely intimate wedding of Katherine and Manuel, photographed by Mariana of Kismis Ink Photography. Now, I'm happy to share with you their day after session. Mariana had already scheduled a day after session knowing that there wouldn't be enough time on the wedding day to catch some romantic shots of just the couple. The location for the day after session was Honeymoon Island, FL. And, about 30 minutes or so into the shoot, thunderstorms and torrential rain started. Despite the weather, Mariana was able to capture some beautiful shots.

For those that are interested in seeing more of Katherine and Manuel's wedding and day after session, please check out the the lovely personal wedding website of the couple, created by Mariana's husband of Kismis Ink Photography.

Real Wedding : an intimate spanish-traditional backyard affair

So happy to share today's wedding with you and I'm honored to be able to give Mariana of Kismis Ink Photography in Tampa, FL her first wedding blog feature. Today's wedding of Katherine and Manuel was an intimate backyard ceremony and reception that was held at the home of the groom's mom. According to Mariana, the wedding day was hurried, spanish-traditional with lots of family-lovin. Due to this, Mariana knew she didn't have time to get the bride and groom alone for some romantic photos, so she pre-scheduled a day-after session. {those photos are coming up in a little bit, so stay tuned}.

Thank you so much Mariana for sharing this beautiful intimate wedding with my readers today.
