Bridal Veils : Which Style is for You?
When searching for bridal veils, you are sure to find one that matches your style perfectly. Maybe you are looking for a long and exquisite veil, like a cathedral wedding veil that will trail down past your wedding gown? Or, maybe you prefer something that won't cover your dress, like a birdcage wedding veil? The elbow length wedding veil is very popular for the classic bridal look. Whichever style you choose, you can easily find your perfect wedding veil at With This Bling.
wedding veils . . . what is your style?

Here's a little breakdown on the lengths of each type of veil:
 • Shoulder Length: anywhere from 20" to 25" long
 • Elbow Length: typically around 30" long {some are 27" and others can be 32"}
 • Fingertip Length: about 30" and 36" long
 • Waltz Length: just over 40" long
  • Cathedral Length: around 100-120" long

What are my choices for a standard bridal veil?

Brides that aren't looking for a cage or blusher veil, might want to consider any of the standard bridal veils. At With This Bling you will find a terrific selection and the style range includes shoulder, elbow, fingertip, cathedral and waltz length veils.

The most popular length at With This Bling is the Elbow length veils, as this style shows off the bottom trim of the dress and creates a classic look. But, whatever your style, you're sure to find a wedding veil that will flatter your hair style and wedding dress length.

Bride's Head Revisited : stunning bridal accents

guest blogging with Stephanie of Couture Parties

This morning I'm so happy to have Stephanie of Couture Parties joining me on the blog. I wasn't able to attend the recent Bridal Market in NYC, but Stephanie was so kind to visit with Bride's Head Revisited on my behalf. Here is what Stephanie had to say after visiting their booth at the market . . .

---

We all know I love details. When walking into the booth of Bride's Head Revisited, I immediately knew that these designers want brides to have an experience on their wedding day. The day of two options, mantilla and finger tip length veils is long gone. Head bands, which were on every runway at the bridal designer fashion shows, were stunning. From a simple satin ribbon with a dainty crystal embellishment, to a full crystal head piece. All options are available from this hand crafted designer. A trend that I am seeing amongst my own brides is no veil. A simple haircomb or brooch is worn in the hair to replace the veil.

We can also go the route of 2 veils, traditional or heirloom for the ceremony, then followed by a change into a birdcage veil for the first dance and remove it before dinner and insert a brooch with feathers/flowers and crystals for the cake cutting and dancing. There are no "rules" for your headpiece, always remember it is your day, and you can do what you would like.

The following is from the Bride's Head Revisited press kit:
Founded in 2002 by Alexandra Augustine and Emily Martin as a hand sewn bridal veil line, Bride's Head Revisited quickly evolved into a brand that continues to exceed the expectations of brides around the world. Today, Bride's Head Revisited creates stunning bridal accents that combine tradition and style, to give each bride the perfect finishing touch on her special day. Currently, the company offers traditional and French veils, crystal combs, headbands, hairpins, silk flowers, garters, and pillows.

Thank you so much Stephanie for joining me today and for taking the lovely photos of the beautiful Bride's Head Revisited designs. Stephanie is owner and designer of Couture Parties and Couture Wedding Design. To see more, you can also visit her blog.
