Gourmet Cupcakes from Barrington Bites

On the way home from our vacation yesterday, we stopped in downtown Great Barrington, MA and I was so happy to find a cupcake shop, Barrington Bites . . . the one and only cupcake shop in Great Barrington. It's the cutest little cupcake business that specializes in mini cupcakes and it's located inside of The Chef's Shop on Railroad Ave. I was super happy to see that Barrington Bites carried two flavors of gluten free cupcakes so I was able to get a special cupcake just for my daughter and of course for myself and hubby. And, what a delicious dessert we had last night - it was so great to end our vacation back at home on a sweet note. I love the mini cupcakes and these are amazing, they're definitely gourmet and full of flavor. My hubby and I shared a Peppermint Patty and The Elvis cupcake and our daughter had the gluten free Ginger cupcake which quickly disappeared. {the Chocolate Souffle is also gluten free as it's a flourless cupcake} My hubby and I also tested the Pink Lemonade cupcake which was probably my favorite of the three although picking a favorite wasn't easy.

There are 28 flavors to choose from at Barrington Bites and they all sound so yummy, including: French Toast, Strawberries & Cream and Chocolate Orange. You can see the entire menu of flavors here. I'm in love with the mini cupcakes as it's the perfect "cupcake bite".
