The Latest Designs from Amy-Jo Tatum Bridal Couture

I love the dress collections from Amy-Jo Tatum Bridal Couture who creates one-of-a-kind bridal gowns and  specializes in eco-chic fibers and green friendly alternatives. Her 2010 collection is reminiscent of the 1950's and it's called Dioresque. When I asked Amy-Jo to give some insight into her latest dress collection, this is what she wrote . . . "I had a vision about wedding dresses that could go either formal or semi-formal give or take the accessories a bride would pair up with her dress.  Inspired by Dior's New Look, ballet length--just above the ankles-- combined with the femininity of yards and layers of skirt, this seemed a perfect medium. According to my clients--this length dress is hard to find in salons and designer lines. The 2009 collection concentrated on skirts of linen Georgette. 2010 is more about tulle and Chantilly lace combos, skirts and underskirts laid out on the bias to give a certain grace and flow to walking and movement."

This dress is called the 'Aurora' (for the aurora color accents). The lace is backed with a blue/gray lining with peach accents. Amy-Jo says is reminds her of a muted pastel sunset. The skirt is four layers of tulle and a separate slip of crinoline and tulle. Detailed touches include a row of buttons accenting the back and it is all pulled together with a blue and peach sash. The headpiece is coral-peachy handmade silk florals attached to a tulle bow.

This dress is called the 'Deborah' and it made of with a chantilly lace bodice and satin-lined gown with full 3-layer tulle skirt and a separate layered crinoline petticoat.

Thank you Amy-Jo for letting me share your new collection with my readers today. To see more from Amy-Jo Tatum Bridal Couture, please visit Amy-Jo's web site, blog and facebook page.
