Lead Bridal Specialist at G Michael Salon, Courtney, was inspired by a classic concept she titled as "Summer in the City". The models in this shoot {Rachel and David} are real-life husband and wife who were actually wed at the venue where this shoot took place in 2010 {and have since welcomed their first child in December of 2012}. The venue was the Indianapolis Arts Garden which is located inside the Circle Center Mall in downtown Indianapolis. It perfectly accommodates an outdoor summer-like feel. You would never guess that it was below 30 degree and snowing outside when this shoot took place :)
Courtney was inspired by the trending pastel mint green and all things gold for this shoot as this color palette is soft and romantic, but highly sought after by many of today's planning brides. Remember my mint green and gold inspiration board? One of my favorites from this shoot, besides the stunning hair styles and custom wedding cake, is the bouquet of white, long stemmed roses that was hand-dipped in gold. I love the idea of doing something unexpected to make it personal and unique.
