Today is my 7th wedding anniversary {Happy Anniversary Hubby}. And, to to honor the day, I've created a sunflower inspiration board. Our own outdoor wedding was sunflower themed {navy and yellow} and last year I created another sunflower wedding to celebrate the occasion with the colors of yellow, green and shades of pink/purple {see it here}. This year, I chose a rustic sunflower theme and I think this one is probably my favorite choice. PS: I will be taking this week off from the computer to spend time with my family - but please keep coming back. I've got great posts lined up all week, so there will be something new each day for you.Image Credits and Resources:

Today's inspiration board came out totally different than planned, but I like the end result. I started putting together a general western wedding theme board, but once I started finding more and more bandanas, the board shifted to a bright and colorful Western Wedding with many different uses for bandanas. One of my favorites is wrapping your guests favors in them. Another idea, not shown here, is to wrap your bouquet stems with a bandana instead of satin ribbon. I also love the quirky wooden sign that fits in perfectly with a Western Wedding.Image Credits and Resources:
Popcorn Cones from Country Living {bandana crafting paper rolled into cones}, Bandanna Table Setting from Country Living {dress up a wooden picnic table with either an embroidered cotton or lace runner and bandana-print dinnerware likes these from Kolorful Kitchen}, Rustic Sign from Favor Ideas, Bouquet from The Knot, Bandana Napkin Wrapped Silverware and Placecards from The Knot, Roper Floral Print Dress from Sheplers, Real Rustic Wedding Invitation from Perfection on Paper on etsy, Bandana Wrapped Favor and Place Card from Country Living, Cowboy Yee Haw Red Bandana Ring Bearer Pillow from All of You Bridal's on etsy, Bandana Place Card with Bronco from Country Living
Pops of color and varying textures everywhere are the key elements for a Moroccan themed wedding. I first spotted the Moroccan inspired wedding invitation on etsy and then the wedding cake. From there the board came to life. If you choose to have an outdoor wedding, placing colorful pillows around low tables is a great alternative to the traditional table seating for your guests.Image Credits and Resources:

And, lastly, another great resource for those looking to plan a Moroccan theme event can be found at Bellenza in their Wedding Bistro. You will find beautiful photos and superb tips to help make your Moroccan party come to life. And, for those looking for a cupcake tower instead of a wedding cake, here's a beautiful Moroccan themed wedding cupcake tower found via flickr.
This past weekend marked the 40th anniversary celebration of Woodstock, so I've put together a modern hippie chick wedding inspiration board. It's a little bit groovy and hippie with a bit of the flower-child thrown in the mix.Images Credits and Resources:

I absolutely love the red color of pomegranates and have been wanting to put together an updated inspiration board that incorporates more of the red color and not so much of the actual pomegranates themselves. Although the drinks and sweet treats do incorporate the fruit. For those that might be wondering, the pomegranate season is from October thru January each year. {you can see my post from last November, aka National Pomegranate Month, for a Pomegranate Inspired Wedding}
