Today's post is a flashback to one of my favorite styled photo shoots I was a part of. This time of year, pomegranates are a big hit and their color couldn't be more perfect for weddings during the holiday season. This pomegranate styled shoot was featured in Bridal Guide Magazine as a 3 page spread in the Party Planner pages. For this shoot, I designed and hand-glittered all the paper goods including . . . invitation, dessert tags, place cards, and dessert toppers. All of the paper goods are still available for purchase in my Wedding Girl etsy shop. The stunning photography is by Kismis Ink Photography along with so many other amazingly talented wedding vendors who participated in creating this pomegranate inspired winter wedding. Recently a bride emailed me looking for inspiration for her red and black wedding. I immediately went onto pinterest {you can find me here} and put together a board. I selected some of those images for the inspiration below and you can see even more red and black wedding ideas here. Of course my favorite idea has to be the black cone topped with a perfect red scoop of ice cream. What a great way to end the night and treat your guests to a sweet surprise.

Happy Valentine's Day. Today's beautiful red wedding of Vanessa and Dave from Leeann Marie Photography is just so perfect for today's feature. I'm in love with the brides bouquet - partly because gerbera daisies are one of my favorites and I think the ribbon tied on her bouquet stem is just so pretty.

Today's gorgeous ivory, champagne and red wedding of Sanela and Brian was coordinated by Madeline's Weddings and Events and photographed by Kerry of Connelly Studios. Sanela had been a bridesmaid at one of Madeline's previous weddings and knew that when she got engaged she'd be coming straight to Madeline's Weddings for her planning needs.

Madeline's Weddings and Events worked with Sanela on all of the decor for her ceremony and reception. Madeline's also provided all of the stationery for the wedding - from the invitations and response card to the seating chart and place cards.

For the ceremony, Madeline's Weddings and Events team cover the entire marble countertop with A Madeline's Specialty Signature Design. There was also a beautiful canopy set up at the altar and the aisle was draped in swaging chiffon fabric.

For the reception, satin, organza and chiffon fabrics were used and the head table was covered in rose petals, candles and specialty glassware.

Sanela and Brian's wedding also featured a signature drink, and ice sculpture and lion dancers.

And, like many of Madeline's other weddings, Sanela and Brian's wedding featured an amazing candy and cookie buffet.
