A Ballet Inspired Wedding in Pinks + Greys {Inspiration Board}

With my 3 year old daughter's ballet recital this past weekend, I've had dance on my mind. And, because of that, I thought I'd put together a ballet inspired wedding with just the perfect mix of pinks and greys. I didn't want it to become too frilly and girly in order for the groom to like this theme as well. My favorite part of this inspiration board was when I found eco-chic handmade vegan bridal ballet flats. PS: starting today, all of my boards will be clickable to a larger size so you can see more of the details in the images.

Yellow Eyelet Wedding {Inspiration Board}

My inspiration photo for this board was the adorable table setting with yellow bistro chairs. I started creating a ruffle theme board, but once I saw the design in the chairs, it reminded me of eyelets. So, the board shifted focus, and I worked on a different "wedding ruffle" board that I'll be sharing with you very soon. Yellow is a favorite spring time color for me and you can't help but feel happy when you see it.

A Wedding Celebration O' Green {Inspiration Board}

Today's board is in celebration of St. Patrick's Day - may the luck of the Irish be with you today.

Princess and the Frog Themed Bridal Shower {inspiration board}

Thought I'd start the week with a fun little bridal shower inspiration board. There's been lots of talk of princesses and frogs recently with the new Disney movie, The Princess and the Frog, so I thought why not have a princess and frog themed shower? It's a bit girly, yet a whole lot of fun. Just check out those cookies.

A Blue and Lemon Yellow Wedding {inspiration board}

Today's inspiration board was created for the bride of Lauren, who is the owner of Ten23 Designs. Lauren is creating the monogram for the bride and her groom who are planning a spring/summer 2011 wedding. The bride comes from a proud navy family and is marrying into another navy family. She is hoping to have an outdoor ceremony and an inside reception. She's looking to have some type of lemonade booth or table and wants to wear yellow shoes under her dress. From talking with the bride, Lauren also gathered she might want to have lemons worked into the decor. When I came across the photo of the lemons being used a place cards I knew that would be perfect. It's a great way to incorporate lemons, without the need to use them in the floral vases as is often done. And, the brides colors are going to be navy and powder blue with lemon yellow. Here's what I put together as an inspirational starting point for Lauren's bride.
