Real Wedding : a fairytale wedding complete with carriage ride

Today's groom {Mathew} wanted his bride {Lydia} to feel like a princess on her wedding day so he did what he could to make that happen. Including a surprise carriage ride to the reception and even fireworks before the night was over. Each photo reflects the pure joy Lydia felt as she married her prince, which were beautifully captured by Sarah of Ampersand Photography. The wedding took place at the Old Hickory Golf Course in Virginia.

Thank you Sarah for sharing today's pink fairytale wedding that came thru for Lydia with the help of her prince, Mathew. To see more from Sarah of Ampersand Photography, please visit her web site and blog.

Real Wedding : a pink infused wedding with a touch of elephants

Today's gorgeous pink and black and white damask themed wedding was photographed by Hilton Pittman Photography at The Landmark Gardens. The bride and groom, Kelly and Kortney went to the same high school but never knew each other. It wasn't until after college that they ended up meeting at a party. They danced all night and went on a date the next week. From Kelly and Kortney, "We knew almost immediately that we'd both found "the one" but were both too chicken to say it, so we started saying "elephant shoe" to each other because when it's mouthed it looks like you're saying "I love you". A month after we met, Kortney invited me on a lake trip with all his friends. On that lake trip, we talked about "our future wedding" and how awesome it would be to have elephant ears at our wedding because of the whole elephant shoe thing. So the next month we said "I love you" and went ring shopping, and 5 months after our first date Kortney proposed to me on the beach at Emerald Isle in between sand sculptures of an elephant and a shoe." So, as I'm sure you can guess, elephants were incorporated into their wedding.

Thank you so much Hilton for sharing the absolutely beautiful wedding of Kelly and Kortney with my readers today. To see more from Hilton Pittman Photography, please visit his web site / blog. And, if you'd like to see more of Kelly and Kortney's pink infused wedding, please click here.
