Today's wedding is amazingly unique and super special for the couple which I just LOVE. The bride and groom are baseball lovers and as their photographer of Dana Widman Photography writes, "fell in love at the diamonds... baseball that is!". Don't you just love that? After all, a wedding should be about reflecting a couples personality and style, right? The small town couple, Lisa and JJ, put a spin on the "traditional" wedding photos after the ceremony and took their wedding party {or shall I say teams} out to the baseball field to capture real energy, spirit and joy. The wedding took place in Perham, Minnesota with a super fun and low-key day filled with orange accents {as orange is the color of the local baseball team}.

Today's amazingly gorgeous wedding was photographed by Kristen Weaver Photography. The bride, Marja, was adopted as a child into a Danish family. And, the groom Scott, hails from a traditional Jewish family. The two met over 5 years ago at Rochester Institute of Technology when Marja started college. After Scott proposed under the stars in the Caribbean, they started planning their destination wedding in Minneapolis. This wedding was super special as both Marja, Scott and over half the wedding party was deaf. Tradition was still incorporated into their their ceremony and when they signed their vows, they brought in translators to help interpret. As Kristen says . . . "It was so sentimental and meaningful to see their connection!"

I'm in love with today's wedding I get to share with you. Personally, I think if you are able to, there's nothing better than having nature as the beautiful backdrop for your wedding. I love how Brett describes the wedding location, "It's one of the coolest, hip little middle of nowhere towns I've ever been to. I try to go at least once a year, and I don't want to leave whenever I do go. Best coffee, best food, prettiest scenery."
