Charming Texas Fall Wedding with Rustic Elegance

This charming fall wedding of Whitney and Jordan took place in Texas at the Old Glory Ranch. The photos by Julie Wilhite Photography are just beautiful and I'm loving the hot fuschia for the bridal party dresses. The purple, pink, ivory and green flowers are simply stunning. A preview of the wedding is below and you can see many more photos in the slideshow.

Unique Guest Book Alternatives : from paper hearts to suitcases

These new unique guest book alternatives from Daisy Days are so fun and completely different from the typical guest book alternatives you're used to seeing. Each of them have the option of being personalized as well. Which unique guest book is your favorite?

This From the Heart Acrylic Shadow Box Guest Book Alternative is sleek and modern with a touch of DIY. It will make such an elegant statement not only at the wedding, but in your home afterwards. Guests simply sign their names on the white die cut hearts that are included {there's also a red heart with stitched edging} and place them into the shadow box.

The Country Charm Rustic Wooden Wish Box was designed to hold miniature scrolls that contain the hand written message from your guests. Once completed, this box will be filled with wisdom, memories and kind words from your guests. The matching paper wish scrolls can be purchased separately.

This Mini Suitcase Wishing Well is just the cutest and it's perfect for the wedding couple that has a passion for travel or is planning destination wedding. The miniature suitcase has a vintage flair and features contrasting ivory and brown faux leather with a personalized luggage tag. You can even purchase paper airplane stationery to add an extra touch of fun and whimsy to the suitcase guest book.

This contemporary Wishing Well Acrylic Box is a great guest book alternative and will complement any color theme. You can use the box as a stylish container to collect wedding cards or "Wish Cards" in, but you can also store your precious wedding keepsakes inside after the big day.

A Rustic Woodland Inspired Holiday Shoot

While today's photo shoot was created for the holidays, there are so many ideas and creative design within the shoot that it can easily be adapted for bridal showers and/or weddings. Before, I share all the details, I wanted to show you the overall look of the dessert table below which features tree trunk slices as serving trays and even gold painted poinsettias. The rustic woodland inspiration was designed by Mayra of In Flight and Melissa of Truly Chic Inspirations.

The woodgrain paper boxes are perfect for sending home sweet treats with your guests and the wrapping paper with coordinating paper tags are ideal to wrap up your guests favors in. Wouldn't little wrapped packages look adorable at each place setting in this paper?

Such a great idea - simply place ribbon inside of clear ornaments to match any color decor you desire.

And, I just couldn't resist not sharing a close-up of the fondant cake toppers with you. There is just something so sweet about them {besides the amazing detail} that I just keep looking at their photo to bring a smile to my face.

A Rustic Tennessee Wedding from Mary Rosenbaum Photographs

The meeting of Karen and John started with a blind date that led to today's beautiful fall wedding, with photography by Mary Rosenbaum Photographs. The bride and groom wanted an intimate and relaxed day in the fall season to celebrate their marriage. The outdoor wedding ceremony was officiated by the groom's father which added to the intimacy of the day. John and Karen made the wedding favors themselves - each guest went home with a set of wooden homemade coasters.
