Wedding Centerpieces with an Unexpected Fruit . . . Pomegranates

When it comes to fruit - there are so many ways to use it . . . in smoothies, in salads, in desserts, in cocktails . . . but how about in your wedding centerpieces? Susan of Bloomin Couture in San Francisco, CA is joining me today with the most gorgeous floral arrangement that incorporates fruit - pomegranates in particular for this one.

The prettiest of wedding centerpieces with mint, geraniums, peonies, dahlias, and the unexpected addition of fruit - pomegranates,. Come see all the details on adding fruit to your wedding day from Bloomin Couture on Brenda’s Wedding Blog www.brenda…

Susan loves using things from the garden and in this floral arrangement, she has incorporated mint and geraniums as the greenery that blend into a lush tumble. There’s also peonies and dahlias - two flowers which I personally love for weddings as their petals are beyond dreamy. When it comes to incorporating the pomegranates, Susan likes to leave them on the branch for an organic feel. If they should need to be reinforced, she tapes a wooden food skewer to the branch to make it stronger.

And, if you plan to incorporate pomegranates into your wedding day - I have a pomegranate themed wedding invitation, pomegranate place cards and pomegranate dessert tags in my Festive Fetti shop. Plus, I can always create additional pieces like a menu, thank you cards, and more to coordinate with your wedding.

Will you be incorporating pomegranates into your wedding day? Don’t forget that you can even carry the pomegranate theme throughout your celebration right into the food - either with the appetizers or the main meal and of course, you don’t want to forget about creating some pomegranate infused drinks for your guests.

Blooming Couture offers bespoke, made to order floral arrangements for residential, dinner parties, mitzvahs and weddings. You can see more from Susan on her website and join her on Instagram.

Festive Fetti is your go-to shop for adding festive fun to your celebrations and holidays. Choose from many different confetti themes (which are great for table scatter), invitations, party signs and printables for your next event. PS: Custom designs are always welcome so you have the perfect design for your very own occasion.

Simple Flower Centerpieces for Spring Weddings
I was recently asked by Amara Bridal Registry to be a part of their article 30+ spring wedding tips from the experts. They wanted to talk to the experts {wedding industry professionals and bloggers in the know} to get the best advice and tips for all of those planning a spring wedding. Today, I'm sharing with you my spring wedding tip that I was honored to have published . . .

"Create simple centerpieces for Spring by grouping
several small vases together with single blooms"

You can place single blooms into individual vases that are similar in style, but vary in height. Grouping them in uneven numbers is always best too. With springtime, it's always fun to think in terms of simplicity and while you might be tempted to go for the big floral centerpiece, a simple centerpiece can make just as much of a statement. Plus, you might even like to send each of the couples at the reception tables home with their very own flower after the wedding {and the vase becomes a keepsake for them} :)

Summer Wedding Centerpieces : sugared fruit and key limes with peonies

I have a bit of a new obsession and that is perusing all the amazing online publications that are being published on Issuu - I remember using them for the initial publications of the Best Wedding Sites Magazine. But, back then it wasn't mobile ready and had a few other quirks that made me switch to another publisher. But now, I'm LOVING all the amazing publication designs I am seeing. Makes me want to almost start designing the magazines again. But, I know how much time goes into the creation of the publications and I'm just not able to do that at this time. With 2 girls now, I'm wanting to soak up every second I have with them - our youngest is already 9 months and summer is half over. Where is the time going?

One of the many publications I have found on Issuu is Delighted Magazine. Their latest issue features 3 gorgeous centerpieces that are just perfect for summer weddings and even bridal showers. Two of the three I'm sharing with you today, so you will want to be sure to browse through the issue online for the third centerpiece idea. Plus, you can find the the complete supply list and DIY steps to re-create these beauties yourself in the magazine. The Sugared Fruit centerpiece above was created by Darling and Daisy.  The centerpiece with peonies and key limes was created by Waiting on Martha
