With it getting closer and closer to the opening of Farmer's Markets around us - I thought it would be fun to bring back on of my favorite "fruit inspired inspiration boards". I've updated it a little bit but I love the idea of incorporating blueberries into your wedding or bridal shower. You could even serve your guests vanilla ice cream topped with blueberries drizzle of honey on top. You could even skip the traditional dinner if you want to do something totally unexpected and serve breakfast instead - think blueberry pancakes with homemade blueberry jam as wedding favors? Or, better yet, how about blueberry pancake cupcakes? And, maybe even blueberry bruschetta? There's so many great ideas to incorporate the blueberries into your event.

With August here already, I wanted to share with you some yummy summer treats to end the week with. Last week I was so honored when Driscoll's shared my blueberry inspiration board with their twitter followers. I even had a container of their strawberries in my fridge at the time :) On their web site, they have so much inspiration from recipes to berry wedding décor. Today, I've rounded up just a few recipes from the Driscoll's site that incorporate blueberries and/or strawberries. They'd be the perfect sweet treat for any summer party you may have planned. I'm hoping to be able to make a few of these myself very soon, although for the ice cream I guess I would first need an ice cream maker, right? Blueberries are at all the local farm stands near us now and I always have a fresh pint or two in our fridge. I love them and so does my daughter. We'll have them with our breakfast and my daughter loves a little bowl of them with her lunch. And, they taste so good on top of ice cream with a little drizzle of honey, yummmm. Today I have put together a fun little inspiration board filled with blueberry ideas for bridal showers and weddings.
