Today's bride and groom {Caren and Patrick} chose to have their wedding in Newport, RI because they wanted a pseudo-destination wedding...a weekend where we could spend a good deal of time with our closest friends and family. Such a great idea - and it definitely worked because many of their guests have already planned another visit to Newport. And, I just love the gift the bride gave to her fiance {as they are both avid basebal fans} -  cufflinks that were fashioned from authentic wood from the seating in the old yankee stadium.
