Can you believe it's already the holiday week? I have the BEST styled shoot to share with you in celebration of my last post before the holiday {my festive-fetti™ even gets tossed in the air to celebrate}. It's now time for me to take a little break to get ready for the festivities and celebrate with family and friends. I wish you and your loved ones the very best this holiday season and if you are looking for a super fun way to thank your bridesmaids for being in your wedding - you will LOVE what I have for you today. It's a Holiday Cookie Exchange with the bride and her bridesmaids to say "Thank You for Being My Bridesmaid". You simply bring your favorite cookie for the holiday season, eat a few of course with hot chocolate and/or wine to celebrate, and then pack up a sampling of each remaining cookie in a pretty box to enjoy back at home.

Are you looking for a unique and fun idea for a bachelorette party or bridal shower? How about putting together a fun spa themed party? Here are 5 fun and easy ideas to help you get your party planning underway.

1. Welcome your party guests with their own robes and slippers {plain or super cute animals}.
2. Use unique and pretty favor boxes to hold the nail polish and mini nail files.
3. Create your own foods {keep it simple and mini} . . . consider cucumber sandwiches and chocolate covered fruits with the use of a double boiler.
4. Save money by flavoring water yourself - simply add in the cucumber scraps {from the sandwiches} or cut up fresh fruit into water pitchers overnight. You can even add a splash of soda water to give it an extra fun kick.
5. Consider sending guests home with little tubes of bath salts for them to enjoy some relaxation again at their leisure.

Summer Party Inspiration and Ideas

Country Living has a great section on their site for summer party ideas . . . and with the Independence holiday weekend quickly approaching, I knew I had to share with you some of the great photos and ideas. I thought they'd be perfect for a festive 4th party that might also be an engagement party or rehearsal dinner. The ideas could also be used for a backyard bridal shower or even a wedding.
1. Wrap sparkling water, lemonade, food jars, and soda bottles in pattern paper that is secured with double-sided tape. You can either make use of leftover pieces of gift wrap or wallpaper that match your color scheme.

2. I absolutely LOVE this idea. Anchor your tablecloths with pails of wildflowers - simply fill tiny tin buckets with flowers and about an 1/2 inch of water. Using a clip and string or narrow ribbon, tie and knot one end around the bucket's handle and the other end to the clip.
3. Using hibiscus syrup, which comes with the edible flowers - you can make 2 different drinks from the one ingredient. For one drink, the syrup adds a floral note and a red tinge to iced tea. For a second drink, you can add one of the hibiscus flowers to a flute of champagne.
4. A great way to keep bugs out of the side dishes is to serve them in single-serving lidded glass jars and then each guest receives their own individual portion.

5. Serve up a fun and unexpected dessert for guests with a simplified Sundae Bar. Pre-dip the cones in melted white or milk chocolate, then roll in goodies, such as tiny mashmallows, coconut, nuts, etc. Serve the cones with a selection of ice cream flavors that are chilled in a tub of ice. Guests then help themselves.
