Shoot the Dress Session with Segerius-Bruce Photography

Earlier today I featured 2 lovely weddings from the "wedding artists" Chanelle & Craig of Segerius-Bruce Photography (UK based husband and wife photography team). You can see them here and here.

Now, it's time for what Chanelle and Craig call a "Shoot the Dress" session. This is their take on "Trash the Dress" {a phrase coined by John Michael Cooper}. These sessions are highly creative and are fashion styled with either just the bride or the bride and groom together. Chanelle and Craig's "Shoot the Dress" sessions can take place either the day after the wedding or several months later. Below are some photos from Jen and Alex's "Shoot the Dress" session that took place on the grounds of the Bradley House in Wiltshire.
You can see more of the images from Jen and Alex's "Shoot the Dress" session here.

A BIG thank you to Chanelle and Craig for sharing these wonderful photos with us today. To see more photos from the weddings featured today and others from Segerius-Bruce Photography, please visit www.segeriusbruceblog.com.

Real Wedding : Jen and Alex in Wiltshire

We continue with our Real Weddings feature from Chanelle & Craig of Segerius-Bruce Photography (UK based photographers) - {see our earlier wedding of Japanese Girl Married English Guy here}. The wedding of Jen and Alex too place at the Bradley House (which has been owned by the Duke of Somerset since it was built more than 300 years ago). For 3 days, the couple had exclusive use of the house and the wedding day began with the guys clay pigeon shooting on the grounds of Bradley House while the girls spent time pampering themselves by having their hair and make-up done. I'm loving the creative night portraits that were taken inside of the house {you can see these a bit later in the photo montage}.
. . . and now, for the creative night portraits. LOVE the dramatic lighting!

Real Wedding : Japanese Girl Marries English Guy

Since starting my Real Weddings, I've been able to meet so many amazing photographers and one of my top favorites has quickly became the husband and wife team, Chanelle & Craig of Segerius-Bruce Photography (UK based photographers). The 2 weddings I'm featuring today from Chanelle and Craig are nothing short of stunning (plus, I have a next day "Shoot the Dress" session to share with you, details on what this is to come).

I could envision so many of Chanelle & Craig's photos being re-printed on large canvases to be hung in the new couples homes. They truly do create wedding art.

The first wedding today is of Andy and Maiko at Hartsfield Manor in Reigate, Surrey. Maiko met Andy when he was working in Japan. London is now their home and friends and family came from all around the world to celebrate. Isn't Maiko's long veil gorgeous? Believe it or not, she made it herself.
