How fun would it be to marry by the pool and then have long tables alongside the pool for the reception? You can even entertain your guests during dinner with synchronized swimmers. Then later on during the reception, you could change into a vintage bathing suit {like the one shown below from Shabby Apple} and have everyone go swimming to really get the party going. It would be the perfect summertime wedding.

As soon as I saw the photo below of Cherry Rose and Coconut Ice Cream, I knew it was meant for an inspiration board to be created around it. So here you have a pink rose wedding with the perfect little touches of blue . . . a wonderful color palette for summer.
