Summer is definitely here in the northeast - we're right in the middle of a heat wave with temps reaching 90+ all week. PS: if you need me this week, you will likely find me at my parents house with my two girls and the big inflatable pool they bought this year. Joining us today is the husband and wife wedding planning and design duo - Sojourner and Milo of Erganic Design based in New York. They are here to share their Top 4 Summer Themed Wedding Trends . . .
It's that time of year again when I put together a green and white wedding inspiration board in honor of the upcoming St. Patrick's Day holiday. Continue reading on to see all the fun ideas I've included in this one . . .
I just love the oversized faux boxwood monogram as a backdrop for the couple saying their vows. The green tulip and white anemone bouquet with the striped ribbon pairs perfectly with the green and white ombré wedding cake featuring an oversized succulent flower. I always love the layered look on a bride, so this green cardigan with the detailed lace collar is perfect. And, for a cute little extra touch, the bride and/or her bridesmaids could carry this mini crocheted purse. The rope necklace would be a wonderful gift for the bridesmaids and it's something they can definitely wear again after the big day. And, of course, a green and white wedding wouldn't be complete without a bride in green wedding shoes. I also find green for weddings at this time of year is the perfect way to usher in spring - it's so fresh and means wonderful beauty is ahead, just like a new marriage.

Trying something a bit different today to see what you think for Eye Candy Friday. Instead of featuring a photo from a photographer as I typically do . . . I decided I'd try and showcase a few items from etsy. What do you think? Would you like to see more like this? Or do you prefer the "original" style for Eye Candy Friday?
