How to Plan a Let's Flamingo Bachelorette Party {even a Bridal Shower or Bridal Brunch}

I have the ultimate Flamingo Bachelorette Party Inspiration to share with you today. There's a Kate Spade vibe. A swanky Palm Springs vibe. And, an adorable flamingo theme. Alyssa of Just a Little Sparkle joins us today to share her Flamingo Bachelorette Party Inspiration.

This post contains affiliate links - when clicked and a purchase is made, I will receive a small percentage of the sale at no additional cost to you. Thank you for supporting those featured and my wedding blog.

Top 7 Ways to plan a Let's Flamingo Bachelorette Party
{or a bridal shower or bridal brunch as the theme is super versatile}

1. Color: Pink, White + Black with some green and gold for a great pop of color

2. Cookie Presentation: Present cookies on something to give dimension + texture. For this particular party, Alyssa used crush up oreo cookies. You could also use graham crackers, candies or coconut - but Alyssa likes to at least use something edible in case something sticks to the backs of the cookies and is ingested.

3. Cupcake Presentation: Store bought cupcakes can be dressed up with cute little flamingos and placed into decorative baking cups for added color.

4. Favor Boxes: Dress up boxes with pink paper bows

5. Party Printables: Keep the look consistent throughout with the entire set of Flamingo Party Printables from Just a Little Sparkle

6. Feathers: Hot Pink feathers attached to the backs of the drinking glasses {which are painted gold} resemble flamingos

7. Decorations: Dress up the cake stand with a little bit of fun fringe and a color coordinated tassel garland is the perfect backdrop for the dessert table.

Now it's your turn to plan the ultimate Let's Flamingo Bachelorette Party {or bridal shower}. Your guests are going to love this fun flamingo party theme.

Inspired by the Dyson DC59 Motorhead : a Modern Pink & Purple Wedding with Silver Accents

Today's wedding color palette was inspired by the all new and super powerful cordless Dyson DC59 Motorhead vacuum. Their latest vacuum is sure to be one that every couple will want to add to their wedding registry wish list. This cordless vacuum is lightweight, slim and beyond versatile. Just think, you can now vacuum your hardwood, linoleum, carpets, baseboards, every nook and cranny - all without the hassle of a cord. I was recently able to take the latest in vacuum technology from Dyson for a test run and I was in complete awe. From the color combo which actually had me written all over it {fuchsia pink, purple and silver} to the impressive power of the cordless Dyson. I have never known a cordless vacuum that could have so much power. For new couples moving into their first starter home or apartment, this Dyson DC59 Motorhead could easily serve as the primary vacuum. It's an upright and handheld canister in-one. Since I've received this vacuum, I can honestly say, there hasn't been a day when it hasn't been used :)

To read a bit more about the Dyson DC59 Motorhead including the nitty gritty yet fascinating facts on this amazing vacuum {along with seeing the image credits for the inspiration board above}  . . . please continue reading

• Powerful carpet pick up is no longer reserved for big, bulky cleaners. The only cordless vacuum with a direct-drive motor inside the cleaner head; Dyson Digital Slim™ DC59 Motorhead has no cord, yet out-cleans most full-size vacuums across hard floors and carpets*.

And with 24 minutes of fade-free cleaning time, it is quick and easy to maneuver between high, low and hard to reach spaces. No more fiddling with plugs or bulky machines, period.

• James Dyson said,Existing cordless machines simply do not deliver on carpets. By putting a motor directly in the brush bar, we’re able to push bristles deeper into carpets for superior performance, while maintaining the versatility of a handheld machine.”

 • 75% more brush power: A newly configured cleaner head with a direct-drive motor creates 75% more brush bar power than DC59 Animal to better agitate carpet pile and tackle ground-in spills and stains.

 • All floor performance: While nylon bristles dig into carpets, carbon fiber filaments reduce the build-up of static charge, aiding in the capture of fine dust on hard floors.

 • Integrated motor technology: 1.5 times more powerful than its predecessor, the Dyson digital motor V6 draws power more efficiently from the battery. Nothing wasted.

 • 2 Tier Radial™ cyclones: 15 cyclones work in parallel across two tiers to increase airflow to capture fine dust.

• Light, versatile and easy to store: A small, light motor in the hand, instead of at the floor, makes it easy to clean up top, down low and in between spaces. The lightweight aluminum wand can be detached for stairs, upholstery, cars and other compact spaces. And storage is hassle free with a wall mounted docking station.

• Clean time: 24 minutes
• Hygienic bin emptying: Just push the button to release the dirt directly into the bin.
• Weight: 4.96 lbs.
• Guarantee: The machine comes with a 2 year parts and labor warranty.
• Price: $549.99

A Pink and Gold Wedding Inspiration Board with Touches of Glitter

Time for another trip into the archives today. One of my favorite inspiration boards I've created was this one for a pink and gold wedding with confetti and glitter. It's perfect for weddings and bridal showers - or any girl party. You can see the original post here with photo credits.

An Elegant Pink and Grey Wedding in Upstate New York from Mary Dougherty Photography
A Real Wedding by Mary Dougherty Photography

Carli and Dan crafted a wedding day that was simply an extension of themselves and filled the event with thoughtful touches and a unique timeline that allowed guests to enjoy the evening at their leisure. The color palette of pinks, white and grey was simple and perfectly elegant for their summer wedding.

The bride and her bridesmaids got ready at her parent's home in Auburn, New York while the groom and his groomsmen were in a nearby lake house. Don't you just love the bride's one shoulder Lazarro wedding dress? Cali's bridesmaids wore a variety of styles of Watters dresses in grey that suited their taste and personality.

For the reception, several dinner stations were set up for guests to visit and enjoy at any point in the evening. In between the eating, guests could stop and talk or hit the dance floor for as long as they liked. The table numbers for each guest was placed on bottles of raspberry lemonade which the guests picked up upon arrival and could be enjoyed immediately.
