A 1920's Vintage Inspired Wedding in Saratoga, NY with the bride in her great, great grandmothers wedding dress

As soon as I saw Tiffany of Tiffany Wayne Photography post this wedding, I knew it was a must feature for all my readers. I instantly fell in love with every part of this wedding - especially the brides wedding dresses {there were 2 of them}. The first one that the bride, Jen, wore to walk down the aisle in was actually the wedding dress of her great, great grandmother. SWOON. How special is that? And, it's the perfect dress for this 1920s themed wedding. Just wait until you see the bridal party in their vintage inspired makeup and dresses. DOUBLE SWOON. So enough with the chatting - I have to start showing the photos . . .

Time for the second wedding dress - another amazing design.

So cute - little leaves on champagne glass

Fun and Elegance with a homemade wedding in California

Today's wedding of Nina and Jeff took place in the beautiful Presidio in San Francisco. A lot of the work for the wedding was done by the bride and groom themselves. And, the poker game centerpieces and escort cards are so fun and playful. As the photographer, Carolina of Sphynge Photography, says about Nina and Jeff's wedding . . . "Fun couple with elegant touches!". And, I LOVE this, Nina purchased her beautiful wedding dress from Brides Against Breast Cancer.

A beachy feel but not a beach themed wedding in Canada from Madeline's Weddings and Events

It's always fun when I get to share a wedding from Madeline's Weddings and Events with you. I'm always intrigued by her gorgeous tablesettings and head table set-ups. And, today's wedding of Deb and Garrett is a great color palette too - ivory, teal and hints of aqua with orange. The bride, Deb, came to Madeline's looking for a beachy feel but not a beach themed wedding. The lovely photography is by Trevor Brucki.

I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me when I first viewed the photos, but Deb did in fact choose to wear 2 pairs of amazing shoes. LOVE IT!!!!!!

From Madeline: "We used our gorgeous floor length ivory linens complimented by a splash of colour with our teal table runners and satin napkins. Each table featured tall and colourful centerpieces, perfect for Deb's beachy feel! For their head table, we used our floor length satin ivory table linens again as well as our aqua organza overlays swooped over the front of the head table. In contrast to the reception tables, here we used ivory table runners and ivory satin napkins to finish off the look."

Madeline’s also custom designed the bride and groom's wedding invitations and respond cards. Madeline writes . . . "Deb provided us with a fabulous image they took while on holiday – the image featured their names written in the sand! It was the PERFECT addition to their stationery! We carried the design right through to their ceremony programs and reception stationery that featured table numbers, place cards, menu cards and a gorgeous seating chart!"

A Modern Minnesota Destination Wedding in Pink and Purple

Today's amazingly gorgeous wedding was photographed by Kristen Weaver Photography. The bride, Marja, was adopted as a child into a Danish family. And, the groom Scott, hails from a traditional Jewish family. The two met over 5 years ago at Rochester Institute of Technology when Marja started college. After Scott proposed under the stars in the Caribbean, they started planning their destination wedding in Minneapolis. This wedding was super special as both Marja, Scott and over half the wedding party was deaf. Tradition was still incorporated into their their ceremony and when they signed their vows, they brought in translators to help interpret. As Kristen says . . . "It was so sentimental and meaningful to see their connection!"

Real Wedding : beach themed wedding over the water in New Jersey

color palette: navy blue and khaki
location: Atlantic City, NJ

Today's beautiful wedding of Molly and Dan took place at One Atlantic which is a gorgeous over the water venue in NJ that is simply stunning and overlooks the iconic Atlantic City boardwalk. The floor to ceiling windows allow not only for great views but for a very versatile space. This wedding was filled with unique aspects that included:
• pearl jam groom cufflinks
• king/queen of hearts dad cufflinks
• bride/bridemaids sea shell jewelry from etsy.com (mermaids baubles)
• recycled button boutonniere (etsy.com)
• blue seashore cake (thebakeworks.com)
• treasure chest gift box (made by bride's dad)
• picture playing card with lottery ticket and taffy in a sea shell (guest favor)

I'm loving the braid in the brides hair {seen below}, it's so pretty.
