Color Palette: daffodil yellow and white

Today, I'm thinking of spring, especially since we're supposed to be getting more snow in upstate NY today. When I started to put all my images together for this white and daffodil yellow inspiration board I went into a bit of panic mode - I had saved my main inspiration (the lovely image of the bride and groom kissing), but forgot to mark where it came from - YIKES!!! Maybe my head cold is actually clearing up a bit, because all of a sudden I remembered where I found it - so here you go - a spring wedding with a touch of retro . . .

Color Palette: pastel pink, fuchsia, and silver

For those that saw my eye candy post on Friday, I mentioned that the cookie photo from Dancing Deer looked like it might be the starting image for an upcoming inspiration board. Well, today is that inspiration board. When I saw the image I started working on a pink and silver wedding with a vintage feel that I think would be lovely in a garden setting. You could find vintage silver serving plates and cake stands at antique shops and flea markets. And, how fun it would be to drive away with tin cans hanging from the car with pink ribbons.

Color Palette: pear green and burgundy

Today's inspiration board combines the muted colors from green and red pears - which I think can be a perfect theme for any season. I originally planned to do only shades of green, but once I introduced some of the reddish tones, I liked the board so much better. My personal favorite is the floral arrangements with the halved pears in the glass cylinders.
