I came across this photo gallery on InStyle Weddings that showcases a wedding cake for each season and wanted to share them with you. My favorite is the fall wedding cake, which ones is yours?

Earlier today I posted the Real Wedding of Arden and Daniel at the The Round Barn Farm in Vermont. Now, here's some lovely photos from Henrickson Photography Weddings of the wedding details - I'm so loving the bouquets . . .
Below: Name tags attached to 120 snow globes served a dual purpose as both place settings and favors.
Thank you to The Round Barn Farm in Vermont for sending me these beautiful weddings to showcase over the past 2 days.
For tomorrow - it's another Real Wedding . . . this time we head to New Jersey for a wedding coordinated by the lovely Jenny Orsini of Pampered Bride Weddings and photographed by CLB Photography.
Today I continue with another Real Wedding from The Round Barn Farm in Vermont, a wonderfully scenic location for weddings. Yesterday, I featured a fall wedding that can be seen here. Today, it's the winter wedding of Arden and Daniel. They recently celebrated their 2nd anniversary and were married on December 30, 2007. For those of you that LOVE the bride's dress as much as I do - I found out it's a Monique Lhuillier gown. Want to read a little more about Arden and Daniel's wedding? Boston Magazine recently did a feature article on Real New England Weddings that included the couple with a list of their vendors. Their photographer was Henrickson Photography Weddings.
Below: I love the photo of the couple dancing!
Check back in a bit for the detail shots from Arden and Daniel's Vermont Winter Wedding.

Color Palette: grey and butter yellow
Happy New Year and welcome to all the newly engaged brides-to-be and wedding vendors that have just started coming to my daily wedding blog. And, a big thank you to all my current readers for making 2008 a great one - I'm looking forward to what 2009 will bring. To start - I've launched a brand new blog layout that features larger photos and easier navigation. I'd love to hear what you think, so please drop me a note at brenda{at}bestweddingsites{dot}com
This week I will be featuring posts on the hottest trends for 2009. For today, I have an inspiration board for you that all started with the adorable penguin cake topper (from Red Light Studio on etsy). As soon as I saw it, I knew the topper had to be incorporated into an inspiration board - so here's some ideas for a grey and yellow winter wedding. (I've also read that grey is being considered the new brown for 2009)

Color Palette: teal, chartreuse, green
I just love the color palettes that are becoming more popular lately for the holidays instead of the traditional red and green. While I still love this color combo, there's something special about putting together a totally unexpected color scheme for your guests at a winter wedding or any holiday party.
