Valentine's Day Inspiration Board : seductive red with pearls

With Valentine's Day now less than a week away, I had to be sure I shared another inspiration board with you. Today's inspiration board can be used as a starting point for a Valentine's Day wedding or just a fun party whether with friends or just your special honey. The red velvet hot chocolate is just perfect for Valentine's Day and wouldn't the pearl wreath be so pretty to greet your guests with?

Shabby Chic Wedding

Ideas and Inspirations | Photos and Galleries
Color Palette: raspberry and white

Today's inspiration board was created in response to a contest Abby was holding on Style Me Pretty. I knew it would be the perfect idea for my next inspiration board. A reader was looking for inspiration for her vineyard wedding that was to be shabby chic with the colors of raspberry and white. The board below is not the one I submitted for the contest as I like to try include a piece of each element for the wedding inspiration. Abby's boards tend to have less images in them. So, the 2 boards that I submitted for the contest (just in case they're selected for consideration) can be seen after the image credits for the board below.

Here's a little more info that explains my thinking behind the inspiration board:
For this Shabby Chic Wedding that will take place in a vineyard, I wanted to create an inspiration board that didn't go overboard with the wine theme as can sometimes be done when the wedding takes place at a vineyard. Wine elements could easily be infused throughout the event though. For example, why not create raspberry wine jam for your guests to take with them as they leave the reception? Also, you can even serve Raspberry wine. These perfect shabby chic finger bowls could be found at flea markets and then re-used again after the wedding. Of course, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to showcase a raspberry pie! The cupcakes on the vintage cupcake tier are just beautiful. And lastly, for me, the wine stopper with glass knob completes the shabby chic look.

Pastel Blue and White Christmas Wedding

Ideas and Inspirations | Photos and Galleries
Color Palette: pastel blue, white, aqua blue, evergreen

Snowflakes, yummy cookies, hot chocolate, and an intimate gathering of your closest family and friends is what comes to mind with this soft-hued winter wedding. Evergreens and hints of aqua blue add a touch of brighter color to the pastel palette. For location - maybe even right at home or at a bed and breakfast that can accommodate small groups. This palette would also be perfect for a New Year's Eve wedding or one taking place in the bitter cold month of January.

Blue and Silver Winter Weddings

Ideas and Inspirations | Photos and Galleries

Color Palette: light blue, silver, white

Today's inspiration board started with the beautiful silver Vera Wang Broach Gown. (thank you mom for sending me the link) I thought it would be perfect as a winter wedding dress for those you might be considering an alternative to the traditional white. I especially like the introduction of birds into this winter wedding.
